What a wonderful Sunday Father's day we had this past weekend. Breakfast, playing, pool time, ice cream...just a wonderful day with my family. I hope Chad enjoyed his relaxing Father's day. I tried to surprise him with breakfast in bed...I let him sleep in but I wasn't fast enough. Once Morgan woke up the girls and I ran to Starbucks to get Chad his coffee and some pastry's. As we walked in the door he had already made himself coffee and he was up and about. Oh well, it is the thought that counts.
I did drop the ball on taking a wonderful picture of Chad with his girls...I will have to get that soon and act like it was the actual day.
Our big gift to Chad was pictures of the girls holding letters that spelled Dad. My friend gave me the idea and I was so happy with the way they turned out. Morgan was such a good sport and actually came up with the adorable pose with her face in the letter. The idea is that we update the pictures each year. I am not sure I will be very good about that, but I love the way it turned out.
Happy Father's Day to the most wonderful Father. Chad, you amaze me with the girls. They adore and love you so much. I love the way their faces light up when you get home from work. We could all be having a bad day, but the moment you walk in the door everything is better. I love watching you play and interact with both of them. I couldn't ask for a better father to my children. I love you!

GREAT IDEA! Those pictures are fabulous! Did you just make the letters out of cardboard or are they wooden?
